June Lake, June Lake Jam California Trip

September, perfect weather for a road trip, crossing some arid highlands and ending up at some elevation at June lake. And there is June Lake Jam Fest, highly recommended! That fest was a lot of fun, met some new friends, slept in the car, like a lot of folks – not for too long, it was way cold in the single digits – and people were up at sunrise getting their hands on anything hot like a coffee. The town of June Lake is super nice. If we were planners, we would have stayed in a hotel/cabin, but we don’t plan too much. We live in our RV, if we planned, we would have driven the RV, imagine that. There are 2 camping sites, I assume those get booked way ahead as well for the Fest weekend. Fest or not, its a beautiful place to visit, like a mini Tahoe.
