Starting in 2007: Port Aransas and Bird island trip with Clio and Pepe. Brought a windsurf but that was not happening. I slept a few hours once the mosquitoes left me alone, but they came back again for breakfast! packed up at sunrise and headed back inland, these mosquitoes here are brutal!
Back in 2016: another fun roadtrip with Nia. Yes the mosquitoes persist. This time I didn’t even plan to camp. We had a room in Port A with AC.
